A father of one of the abductees died on Thursday after being attacked by the Houthis militants in the Political Security prison gate in Sana'a.
A statement by the abductees Mothers association said that Ali al-Soudi, the father of the abducted Mohammed Ali al-Soudi died of a heart attack after being severely beaten by the Houthis in front of the Political Security prison as he went to see his son.
"Despite his sixties, but he suffered traveling from his village in Hajjah province to the capital Sana'a to meet his kidnapped son to check on him, carrying Eid gifts, nevertheless he stayed for more than 6 hours under the hot sun crying and begging them to allow him to see his son but they refused.''
The statement said that the Houthis "asked him to leave the place and beaten him despite his old age, so he died in front of the prison gate, and only God knows the extent of pain and suffering that he was feeling in the last minutes.''
The systematic violations by the Houthis group against the parents of the abducted and the disappeared people are a crime added to the record of their crimes, which will not be subjected to prescription.
